Making Jewellery From Porcelain workshops, April 2012
A series of 3 Saturday morning workshops: on 21st April, 28th April and 5th May 2012, from 10am-noon at my studios in the 36 Lime Street Studio Complex, Ouseburn, Newcastle NE1 2PQ
Cost: £55 for the whole 6 hours. Price includes clay, the jewellery fixings, cost of firings, transfers and colours. The workshops are designed both for people who have no previous knowledge of working with clay, and those with some. By the finish of the sessions, participants could have anything up to a dozen pieces to take away.

Awards Day at UNICUM (in Slovenia, middle Europe) is on May 15th - and one of my pieces has been shortlisted for an award. Wish me luck...!
Durham Art Gallery & Museum Local Artists' Spring Showcase

The DLI have asked me to put together and curate the work by local artists and designers on show in the display cases on its ground floor. The work is affordable and hand made; all of it is for sale.

Late Shows - May 2012
My fellow-artist and friend Louise Bradley and I are doing a project on the famous children’s book The Owl Service (by Alan Garner).
I’ll be creating my own special kind of porcelain plates, on which she will be drawing graphics associated with the book – but in her own unique style.
The Late Shows nights are held all over Newcastle on May 18 & 19 and the collaboration from Louise and me will be on dispaly at 36 Lime Street Gallery.

Open-Studios - November 2012
The annual Open Studios event is when artists all across the area open up their studios to the public.
If you are visiting any Open-Studios, do drop in to my studio – which is on the 3rd floor of 36LS – and say hello!
There will be a chance to see my new work, including ceramic shelves and porcelain jewellery, some of which will be for sale.
